  • So you’ve decided to start a small group . . . Yay!!!!! We are so excited for you. It’s actually pretty easy so you can relax. We’re here to help in anyway. Simply invite some friends over, let everyone know how they can get a copy of the study (you can purchase the shop portion of our menu), and then choose a time and meeting location. Oncer that’s done its time to send out the invites. We recumbent creating a Facebook group to stay connects but text and personal invites work amazing too. Actually for the best outcome, use all three,

  • Culture is everything. It is absolutely critical that this stays a safe space and is always 100% free from gossip or negativity. Its very easy to maintain as long as you set the boundaries from day one. Once everyone gathers simply startup by thanking everyone for coming, do a little group housekeeping (we’ll share more about this in our “leading a study video” and then simply let everyone know that what is said in this group stays in this group. remind them that safe places dont talk about people or situations in a negative way. We think you’ll find that people love this and are very happy to follow the culture that the you the leader create.

  • Once everyone has their book or pdf version of Armor Up, we recommend the following for your group outline. First, we recommend an hour and a half meeting time. 7-8:30 pm usually works well for most but weekend and daytime classes work well too. Whatever works best for your group.

Wither way this outline works well.

15 min - welcome guest, snacks, and relational time.

15 min - open study with group welcome, housekeeping, praise reports, and prayer

20 min discussion from previous weeks daily work - what have been the major take aways, what are the highlights form the secret place times.(the first week, we recommend talking though what the study online will look like and the into portion of the study since there will be no previous weeks work.

20 min - watch the video of the week

10 min - discuss the video of the week you just watched.

10 min prayer request and closing prayer
